This initiative originated from alumni and retired leaders of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW) aiming to support scholarship programs that foster campus diversity, inclusion, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Additionally, it serves as a networking platform for alumni through personalized avatars set within a virtual representation of their alma mater in real-time.

Emphasizing Madison, Wisconsin, touted as hosting one of the finest undergraduate experiences in the United States, the GVBACK App directs its proceeds towards benefiting the University of Wisconsin-Madison directly.

It is evident that the GVBACK App seeks to uphold values of diversity, equity, and inclusion within university and college campuses by offering a novel platform for players to connect, enjoy themselves, and access valuable resources.
